Modern French restaurant, Bar, New American restaurant
We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience! Very attentive service, delicious food and drinks! The asparagus were incredible, the hollandaise sauce so light.OMG, the crispy octopus was beyond delicious, so tender and tasty. The drinks were perfect, and the service awesome.Great experience, wonderful chef and staff!
Came for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. The service was disappointing overall.Ordered the beef tartare, chicken croquettes, gnocchi au gratin, and two side orders of pomme frites as appetizers. The first three apps were great however our waitress forgot our pomme frites and so those came late.We also ordered tea which was brought to the table without any sugar. We had to keep reminding the servers about refills. Also there were not any salt or pepper shakers brought to the table. Main entrees were the scallops, two New York strip steaks, and the linguine with clams. The scallops tasted great (although for $41 I only received 3 scallops alone on a plate...no sides) the clams in the linguine were of poor quality and tasted rancid/sour.The linguine in the dish looked like Ramen noodle packet pasta. The steaks however were the most disappointing entrees ordered. They came pre-sliced and resembled a hungry man frozen dinner. They also came to the table freezing cold like they had been sitting out for some time. When we let the gentleman know the steaks were cold, he was condescending about the matter, as he had been throughout the evening (he chastised me for scooting a plate over to make room for the food he was delivering to the table...and intruded on a conversation I was having with my sister to correct me about the definition of "gnocchi").New steaks for my brother and sister came well after my other sister and I had finished our dinner and again they were not cooked correctly.Asked for medium well and they came completely pink on the inside.(We had a concert to make it to so just settled on poorly cooked steak). Dessert was also lackluster. The chocolate cookie was more of a hardtack biscuit that could shatter a tooth. No flavor at all in either the chocolate or strawberry dessert. Had the restaurant been busy I could understand the inability to provide good service at the table and the constant forgetfulness. However, aside from our 4 top, there were only 3 other people at the restaurant that evening. Also, the food was incredibly low quality. If you are looking for an elevated upscale dining experience like we were, do not come here.
