Saltgrass Steak House

Like most Saltgrass, you know exactly what you are getting if you visit this restaurant.
I can't in good conscious give 5 stars today for just a few reasons.
At first arrival, the lobby was busy, but no one knew where the line was to check in, and it was organized chaos.
With that said, we did get seated pretty quickly.
The waiter was ok, but for us, he was way too talkative.
I like to enjoy my meal without all the conversation.
He did a good job, though.
The bread here is always amazing.
We ordered mushrooms and crab cakes for appetizers.
You can't go wrong with either.
Both were amazing.
I really liked the crab cakes with the lemon sauce.
The potato soup is not what I'm used to and tasted like it was missing something.
The meals were as expected, tasted good, hot, tender ribs, and perfectly cooked steak.
The couple we were eating with, though, had their fish come out more raw than fish should be.
They did take care of it and replaced the dish, but by the time he got his fish, we were almost done.
The remake was cooked properly, but it was way over seasoned.
Overall, a good, not great visit.
I would recommend a visit despite our issues since they are very consistent with good food.
