Great atmosphere very clean quiet private. The food is delicious.I have been here two different times to eat this week. This is real authentic African food.My kids are African originally from Atlanta. If you are looking for real authentic African food everything is A+.We have tried the green fried potato leaves, the cassava leaf, the peanut butter soup, the fried fish with plantains and jollof rice; and I have also tried the fried fish with tomato salad. All of their fish tastes grilled it’s so delicious.I cannot explain the peace that this food gives me and I am an American.I just love this place definitely worth the drive.
This was a girls night out trying a new restaurant which is something we do regularly. This is a small place maybe 20 - 25 ppl could eat in.The waitress bought us an appetizer to start with of Pepper Kala. The pepper Kala was very tasty.I ordered the Atteike which was fried tilapia and joloff rice, I also ordered the pepper soup which she stated had both chicken and goat meat.My drink was a sprite. Each of my friends ordered something different unfortunately, they were not pleased with their choices and ended up taking the food home to family. My meal was the most expensive of the purchases and came out to 💲 40 plus I gave the waitress/cook/owner a tip. There were only 2 women doing everything so I surmised it’s just a tiny family establishment.I felt the overall experience was not wasted since I am a lover of all things culture.I’m glad I tried the restaurant.
what a delicious meal! i ordered jollof rice with fish and fried plantains.it is a whole fish which I loved.i thought the rice was perfectly spicy, about as spicy as a buffalo medium, and the pepper sauce was maybe a buffalo hot and so tasty.everything tasted absolutely delicious.and it is a huge portion! could easily feed 2-4 people.i loved it and will absolutely be back to get this again and try more on the menu.i had called a few hours ahead for a pick up order and they had it ready right on time.the woman I spoke with was very friendly.the restaurant is decorated very nicely and felt very welcoming.absolutely recommend!
