One of the best 3cup chicken I ever had.
Price aside, it's even better than most places in Taiwan, which actually this restaurant's Chinese name is actually 小台北 or little taipei. The owners were very nice but the one lady will roast you like asian aunties if you speak Chinese, which only make the experience more authentic 😅 The mapo tofu was pretty standard.
But the 3 cup chicken was out of this world.
Crunchy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside; with wonder flavor and aroma.
The rice 🍚 they served was bouncy and chewy but soft.
I was like this is some expensive 🫰 rice and it tastes like koshihikari rice.
Which when I asked they said "sushi rice".
Actually sushi rice in the state is the same as koshihikari.
Which confirmed my suspicion.

UPDATE: I ordered the s&p chicken again and got food poisoning.
Maybr dont go here If you're hesitant to go here, don't be.
Me and my boyfriend made a pact to never get chinese food, because every place we've tried has been awful and not worth the money.
But this place is the real deal.
As soon as you walk in you get a waft of pure flavor.
Nice atmosphere, super friendly people.
We were greeted with wonton chips and hot mustard/sweet and sour sauce.
A delicious snack! We got the roast beef rolls to start, they were made on scallion pancakes.
Imagine lunch meat pinwheels, except they're delicious and paired with an amazing chili oil.
Then he had the the Kung pao chicken.
It came out piping hot, and was just the right amount of spicy and flavorful.
The rice was perfect as well.
I got the salt and pepper chicken, and it was the best I've had! It was fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned.
Did I mention the staff were insanely friendly? Please come here and support this amazing business.
We plan on coming back!

This place is SO GOOD! I live in the neighborhood and there are lots of Chinese restaurants and this one is definitely my favorite.
The food quality is great.
Lots of fresh veggies in the stir fry dishes and really flavorful sauces.
We get the shrimp egg rolls every time, they are so tasty.
