My husband and I had afternoon tea here on Saturday. It was overall very pleasant. The highlight was definitely the tea itself! I cannot remember the exact names but my husband's had chocolate in the name and mine had blueberry in the name.Absolutely delicious. We had an assortment of their sweet tea cakes and scones that were just okay. Our waitress was very nice which was so refreshing.Lastly, I think some nicer, matching fine china would add to the aesthetic.
We had a great stay at the Reynolds Tavern. The people were excellent and helpful. It is a very short walk down Main Street to the City Dock area and you'll pass numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and stores along the way. Breakfast is from 9-9:30 in the morning only (note: they only had one option, an omelette) and the coffee was amazing!! The parking just a short walk away and was free with the voucher they give you. Would definitely stay there again when in Annapolis.
We dropped into Reynolds Tavern on Sunday night when they show old movies in the garden. It's the perfect space for a nice, chill experience like that! We had drinks and dessert.Highly recommend the bread pudding. The drinks were good, too.The atmosphere, however, was perfect, and made for a truly relaxing, enjoyable Sunday evening. We'll definitely be back when we're in town!
