American restaurant
The entire experience was genuinely outstanding! Not only did we enjoy everything we ate, but we also felt truly valued. They were beyond accommodating for the food allergy, gave excellent recommendations, checked in on us multiple times, and we're interested in the pleasure we took in our experience there. Our waiter, Wells, could have been an instant and invested best friend.Everyone should have the pleasure of having a waiter like him.Truly top-notch!
Reservations were made for my birthday, and we arrived a little early but were seated quickly in a great location. Our server was extremely attentive but not intrusive. We started with the crab cake.It was the best we've ever had, right on par with crab cakes from Legal Seafood in Boston. My husband ordered fish and chips and I ordered the crispy skin salmon, and we both ordered salads. Everything was just wonderful. I did have a moment of thinking my salmon was not cooked enough, but after hearing the explanation, which taught me a couple of things as well as alleviating unwarranted fears, turns out it was especially flavorful! Who knew? We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our evening and will certainly be back.
Took my wife here for our 21 year anniversary of when we started dating. On the reservation, asked for a flower or rose 🌹 to be part of the reservation.Which other restaurants of this type, have provided many times before, and it was completely ignored. Then when we got to the table, we were told the beef wellington & the daily special would not be available until 5pm even though it’s not posted anywhere and we got there at 4pm.The menu was very disappointing for a Ramsay restaurant. No scallop appetizer or risotto option at all.Crab cake (single) was good, but not $26 good. Main course of seared scallops for the main course came with 3 scallops for $48 🙄. No side at all, very disappointing. Fish and chips were huge, and the toffee pudding was incredible. The menu also has 3-4 sandwich options which make this a very casual atmosphere, where you are expecting a more formal type of dinner. When spending nearly $300, for dinner you expect more.Especially being a Ramsay Restaurant. Mickey Mantels in brick town is so much better.
