Had to pay 12 dollars for parking.Had to wait over and over for tea refills. The appetizer was great. The meal was great except the potato was cold.Service was just because short handed.Desert was great.Had to wait in check.on check. Finally went to the cashier and paid.I just can't believe in downtown have to pay for parking and I am disabled.Still had to park seats away. But they were not busy. They should validate. Plus waitress said meatloaf was not that good.It was special.
We are visiting from out of state and wanted a good barbecue lunch, and Puckett's delivered! All of the food we tried was delicious.I ordered the blackberry sweet tea, and we split the pimento cheese bites appetizer. For my main meal, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with skillet mac'n'cheese. Both were excellent; just know that the mac is a humongous portion! There is also Puckett's barbecue sauce (original and spicy) right on the table; you don't even need to ask.Additionally, service was fast and our server was wonderful.

Thank you Amanda! The pimento cheese bites are one of my weaknesses! We appreciate you and hope to see you back for another visit!
When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by VERY LOUD music. We were seated pretty far away from where the live music was being performed, but it was so loud that we could not even think. Our server, Hannah, was super kind and switched us to a quiet room away from the loud music. She was awesome throughout our whole experience (10/10 service from her!!!) Once our food arrived, the portions were pretty small, but the quality was good. The house salad tasted fresh and the brisket was slightly above average. However, the amount of brisket on my sandwich was minimal (about 2oz).Considering this sandwich was served with nothing on it except for the brisket itself, I expected more (closer to 4oz). If you do not like SUPER LOUD music do not come here. The musician was good, but the volume of his speaker was just way too loud.Overall the food was average and the portion sizes were pretty small.
Owner response
Hey Kambria! I appreciate your feedback, sometimes we are not in tune with the volume of the music and we are always happy to adjust the volume.I will be able to use this review as a teaching moment to make sure we are sending out the right proportions.I hope you give us a second chance in the future.
