I recently stopped by for their famous spicy chicken sandwich, and while the flavor was on point, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and my chicken was slightly undercooked. Hopefully, they can regain their footing and improve cleanliness - there's potential here!

I've been to a few Popeyes locations, but this one on SE Military Rd in San Antonio needs some serious improvement.
The atmosphere was casual, but the cleanliness was lacking; the tables were dirty, and even the restroom left much to be desired. I ordered the famous spicy chicken sandwich, hoping for a classic experience, but it came out undercooked, making it hard to enjoy.
The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leaving us waiting far too long for service. The only highlight was the refreshing iced tea selection.
I hope they can step up their game because I love Popeyes...but this experience left me hesitant to return. 🍗
