Mexican restaurant
Ordered a mole chicken enchiladas plate with unsweetened ice tea.Right away we were served complementary chips with fresh green and red salsa.Plate came in short time and the dish was piping hot and I could smell the aroma of the mole. The plate came with rice and refried beans.Everything was authentic and tasted wonderful especially the mole enchiladas. The building inside and out is aged but has good historical character.Very much enjoyed dining here and the service was excellent:
From the outside you’d think this place would be a vibe- and maybe it is, just not at the bar. The saving grace for me was that the drink I had was strong and tasted good. However that’s the high point. It’s certainly over priced for the quality of food and service. If you just need a drink - maybe check then out….But there are so many places within walking distance that are much better.
I had a $6 frozen margarita during happy hour, it was strong and tasty with a Tajín rim! Also ordered the flautas, I’d recommend the chicken. The salsa bar is a nice touch! Great service and fun atmosphere. We will be back.
