Lots of seating in the restaurant so even when it was busy, my boyfriend and I were still able to get a table right away and order. We got the large Pho Tai Nam Gau (eye round steak, well done flank, and brisket) and it came out within 3 minutes after we placed our order so that was super nice. The pho was good overall! I’ve tasted better soup broths at other places but I still thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The star of the show was their Banh Mi though. We got the Banh Mi Thit Nuong (charcoal grilled pork). The french bread was crispy on the outside and soft which made the sandwich much easier to eat.I’ve had Bahn Mi’s in the past where the bread is so hard to bite through that it’s a whole jaw workout lol- but thankfully this spot doens’t have that problem. But the pork was flavorful and had that perfectly grilled charcoal taste that made the taste amazing. And with the pickled veggies, cilantro, jalapeno, and mayo, this sandwhich is a must get if you come. And to top it all off, we got their Cafe Sua Da (Vietnamese coffee) and I enjoyed every sip! This is a nice spot to eat if you’re in the Gessner area and craving Vietnamese food! I can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes.
First time coming here and it was great! The food, the service, the courtesy! We ordered Pho Bo- Beef Noodle Soup.#11 Pho Tai Chin.Eye of Round Well Done.It was very hot and had great taste. It came with a side of fresh sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño, basil, and lime slices to add to your Pho.We also ordered a #07 Bahn Mi Bo Nuong with Charcoal Grilled Beef. It's a toasted french bread with grilled charcoal meat, mayonnaise, carrots, cilantro, and cucumber. The bread is fresh and crunchy, plus the meat has a great taste. As well as #123 Com Chien Thap Cam Combination Fried Rice. The taste was great and it was fresh.Last, we ordered a side of egg rolls.#01 Cha Gio Fried Egg Rolls with Pork, carrot, bean thread wrapped in thin rice paper. They were delicious.😋👌🏻 Overall, we were very satisfied. We definitely recommend coming here for a nice bowl of Pho.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FYI, if you dine in, they charge 10% tip when you pay.
The price is about average but the food is great. They have a LARGE menu. The pho was flavorful and the coffee was amazing too.Honestly try exploring the menu. The service isn't great but that's not something that affects the food for me.
