Friendly local pho restaurant in the Lake City neighborhood.
I usually get take out and the service is fast.
The rare sliced beef in the classic Pho Tai to go order is cold and thin, allowing it to cook perfectly in the hot broth.
The broth is flavorful and comes with all the usual fixings.
The crab rangoons are crispy and creamy, served with a sweet chile dipping sauce.

I feel taken advantage of.
High prices and mediocre at best food. Beef brisket was chewy and tasted off.
The pho had basically no onions, and cilantro. The people working were very nice though so it’s hard to have to write this but the food was just so disappointing.

I don’t know what happened to this place.
They just kept raising their price over and over.
I ended up paying over 22 for a mediocre bowl of pho.
For that much I can get much better food somewhere else. I was there around dinner time but the place was pretty much empty.
I remember it used to be pretty busy around that time of the day.
It seems they got too greedy and raised their price too much and people just stopped going? And now they have to raise their price even more to make up for the falling traffic? I don’t know what happened to this place.
A lot of other restaurants are not like this.
