Let me start by saying our server, Victor, is the man.He really made my wife feel special on her 30th birthday. This restaurant is located in The Pierre hotel and has beautiful decor.I came hoping to have dinner in the beautiful Rotunda room on a Sunday evening, but it wasn't open to the public. We were allowed to take some pictures and enjoy the room for a short period, which made the experience totally worth it.I was slightly disappointed by the abbreviated menu, and I didn't particularly enjoy the food but the drinks were great.Shout out to Victor and the bartender for taking care of us, thank you! ✊🏽
Came with my sister and we enjoyed our meal. The waiter kept uncomfortably remarking on the fact that I don’t drink, but the food was delicious. This restaurant is more conservative than trendy, but it’s in a historic hotel and was still a pleasant experience. On a Sunday evening, we didn’t need to dress up too much.We had the pink pavlova for dessert which was fun and delicious.
Not recommended at all.Only and last visit here.Food was average, salmon was a bit fishy, steak was tough and the worst French toast I've ever had.Only served when served food, no service until checkout.Didn't get the previously promised cake, got drinks for free and discount, but the dining experience was one of the worst I've had in NYC, my worst birthday restaurant of the year.
