We were starving and trying to think of an Italian place to eat that was not expensive.
Google search brought up this restaurant.
Menu prices were great.
It’s not facing Tucson blvd so park towards the back of the lot where the entrance is.
VERY nice and helpful staff.
We were the only ones eating in, so I guess it’s more of a take away place.
It was nice though to chat with the staff and get their recommendations.
Garden salad was HUGE, dressings were good, garlic bread was fine, but dry.
BUT the STROMBOLI we shared WAS AMAZING!! Even the next day COLD the flavors were incredible.
The dipping sauces I liked were the bolognese and marinara.
They have bottled or canned drinks.
Paper plates, plastic utensils and styrofoam (environmentalist nightmare).
They said they’ve been open a year.
The desserts are outsourced and the tiramisu was like I’ve had in Italy.
Definitely will order again!

I finally found time to stop in and visit Pasta La Vista for lunch. The building is easy to find, the abundant available parking was easy to find, finding the entrance however proved awkward/unconventional, but easily manageable with some determination, a little perseverance goes a long way.
The door is actually in the rear of the building at the SW corner.
It's well marked once you migrate over to the correct corner. The building exterior appeared clean, well maintained and free of any noticable defects. Upon entry into the establishment, l immediately became aware of the pleasant aroma of a working Italian kitchen. I was immediately warmly greeted upon my entrance by the highly enthusiastic employee named Micah.
I found the establishment's interior to be warm and inviting and free of obvious defects. Ordering was a breeze with Micah's assistance, the menu is rather simple and straight forward and condensed. No soda fountain exist, and beverages are limited to cans of soft drinks and bottles of teas and water sold out of a glass free standing fridge. My food arrived in a timely fashion and l felt that the delay lag from ordering to table delivery proved minimal at best.
I found my food to be hot, fresh, flavorful and extremely delicious. I ordered the cheesy garlic bread, a 12" meatball sandwich and two cans of soda.
My total expenditure was $18 and change. In hindsight l would not recommend ordering the 12" sandwich, it's just such a massive amount of food and l ended up taking the bulk of it with me to go.
While my meatball sandwich did arrive hot, it was too hot to attempt to safely eat so l devoured the cheesey garlic bread to allow the sandwich additional time to cool. I found the cheesey garlic bread to be very good and while presented with numerous choices in accompanying sauces, l elected the marinara sauce with mine which l thought successfully elevated the bread. Once cooled down enough to eat, l found my meatball sandwich to be awesome.
The melted mozzarella cheese was a treat but the star of the show was clearly the meatballs.
I'm firmly under the impression that they were simply stellar.
The flavor and the texture are what made these common meatballs into the best treat of the day.
The meatball sandwich simply doesn't lend itself to be handheld, it's just too messy.
It is probably best consumed with a knife and fork. I would gladly return in the future. I can easily recommend visiting Pasta La Vista. Think I'll try the spaghetti and meatballs next. ***This establishment DOES NOT honor a military discount***

We are sorry about the missed discount, stop back and we will make it right, thank you for the great review!

I came across this restaurant from Facebook, and since I love pizza, I had to try it.
Their pizza definitely had some nice flavor to it.
We ordered a 16" pie with pepperoni, which they use a cupped pepperoni style.
The crust is thin and has an oregano seasoned edge, which was very tasty.
The sauce has a robust tomato flavor and is both sweet and tangy at the same time.
It was well worth the price. My friend ordered a serving of spaghetti and meatball to which the portion of pasta and meatball size was more than expected.
He also ordered a "Hot Dago" which is a sausage patty covered in marinara and melted cheese, it looked like a small lasagna and was also tasty. It was a nice and quiet environment, not too crowded or noisy, and the cook did a great job with the food and customer service.
If you can visit the restaurant, stop on in or give them a try via delivery.
Can't wait to visit again.
