I love this place. I visited on my first trip to Boston. It is filled with photos of historical figures and is rich is history itself. Yesterday after having landed on my trip from Boise Idaho I was a bit hangry and tired. We stopped in for some delicious espresso martini’s and ended up also have a cup of their incredible clam chowder. I love the atmosphere, food and service. It’s a must visit.
My dad’s first and probably only time in Boston, tried to eat at the Parker House for his favorite dessert the original Boston Cream Pie.On the last day of our vacation, despite the horrible reviews of the food and cleanliness. We tried to eat here when we were informed by the hostess that dining is for in room guests only.Due to a system problem. The restaurant was empty.I personally believe the refusal to serve out of house guests was out of pure laziness.I won’t be back and I will never recommend it.
If you ask for Parker House rolls they will bring you some and they are incredible! Like no other roll you have had.So definitely try that. The Boston Cream Pie was also perfection.Pretzel french toast is also worth a try.The salt v sweet is delicious.Excellent, friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
