I have visited this panda location three times in the last six weeks while on vacation in Phoenix. All three times I encountered the same problem that at 7 PM in the evening many of the dishes were out of stock. If you wanted orange chicken, and either fried rice or chow mein, there was no problem but if you wanted anything else it either was out of stock or less than a serving in the bowl in the service line.On my first visit I was told that I could wait five minutes for an entrée to be prepared.I ended up waiting 20.This is totally unsatisfactory. So I knew on my second and third visit not to order anything that was not on the line.
I’ve never had such a weird experience.Went to Panda Express at 9pm.They close at 10pm.There was almost no food in the buffet line. There were a couple bites of one entree, some lo mein, and maybe a cup of one other dish.I order an entree and two sides and the young girl said this is what we have left and I’m not going to make anything else.Yikes.Honestly I would be ok with that but what they had left wasn’t even enough for a meal. The workers clearly wanted to go home but it was an hour from closing.Strange and unprofessional.I won’t come back to this location.
We come to this location about once a week and the food is always good but the service is terrible. They are always out of everything and so we have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for one or more of the plates while the other plates sit there and get cold. The girl behind the counter would not respond when I said the rest of the food was going to get cold, she just laughed and spoke to her teammates in Spanish.
