Let me start off by saying this is an honest review from a newby in the New Town area and this place came highly recommended. I was recommended this place for their wings and pizza.I ordered the wings because I had just had pizza the other night and wanted to save that for another day. What I was dissatisfied in was the amount of food, or lack thereof. They sell their wings in a 1lb increment which, in my case, resulted in 8 wings (I ordered hot with blue cheese because that's my standard to test any wing place out).I had asked for carrots only because I don't like celery and I'm not kidding that I got 4 carrot sticks the size of pencils (see the photo). That's where the ice berg tipped. While their hot wings were delicious and the blue cheese homemade and very good, I just can't justify the price...For the same price you normally get 10 wings and around, at least, 10 carrot sticks not the size of pencils.I eat wings a lot and I cannot recommend getting them here because I left hungry.I don't usually leave negative reviews and I'm impartial here because the food was tasty, but I cannot stand being charged $16 and leaving hungry. That's a big no no to me.On top of that the beer was $6.5 a glass, higher than any other restaurant in the square. I ate at Casa Mia next door a few nights ago and got their California burrito which was also very good for $12 and I could barely finish the plate.I also got a few beers here for less than $5 a beer. I know Padavan's just went through an entire remodel a few weeks months and new everything, yada, yada, but that doesn't justify leaving hungry for the price you pay, especially for wings. All in all I paid $40 with a tip for 8 wings, 4 measly carrot sticks, and 2 beers.Needless to say as much as I want to try their pizza, I will not be back to do so as there are a lot of other great pizza places around for less money. And again, I left hungry. Oh, and I love pinball and while the machines were in great shape, almost all of them are $1 per play which is atrocious. Most pinball places I have been to are $0.50 per play. They also only have 5 pinball machines now instead of the 11-12 before the remodel. Last thing, their website clearly states that the kitchen closes at 10pm under "hours", but when the family behind me came in at 8:55pm the waitress said they needed to hurry and get a food order in if they wanted food because they stopped serving food at 9pm.Might I add this was a Friday night too. I cannot recommend it now.Save yourself the money and go elsewhere unless you have a need to really try their pizza for whatever reason. The whole menu is overpriced now.
Ate at Padavan’s last night.Their Chicken Picatta 🍋 is delicious! My sister loved the bacon blue burger 🍔 and my friend loved the salmon 🍣 We definitely have to come back to try their pizza! 🍕

Thank you for such kind words. Can't wait to have you back.
We drove all the way from Highland, IL to meet my oldest for lunch at Padavan's.He was excited about eating here with us.Online it says it was open. The ours today, Saturday, opens at 11.However, it was not. There have been about 7 people go to their door (it's locked) only to venture over to Casa Mia (they pulled their business.) Maybe next Padavan's....

Heather.I am so sorry.Where does it say 11am? That should all have been changed in February. If you every want to return, please email directly beforehand at greg@padavansny.com and I'll do my best to make it worth your while. I just found it.I have no idea how the hours were changed on Google. It even said we are open at 11am on Fridays. We haven't had lunch hours on Friday for 10 years.I sent in a correction.Again, sorry.
