We came here early on a Friday for dinner. We were a larger party, 8 total but the place was empty other than a couple people at the bar.We were seated promptly and the waitress got our drink orders in.The service was the only bright spot here. The waitress was pretty good about checking on us but was slow refilling drinks.Overall this place was dirty feeling. The bathrooms were horrible, no paper towels and the toilet seat so loose it wouldn’t stay anywhere. If I can’t wash my hands and dry them, how does the staff 🤢? The food was OK.It looked more authentic Mexican style, which I love, but lacked flavor. We had a variety of dishes between our party and no one was really impressed by their entrees. The one thing I did really enjoy though was the guacamole.
Sat for about 10 minutes waiting for a server to approach the table.Just got a water.Waited another long period of time for the server to come back to take orders. We decided to order both the appetizer and entrees at one time because we knew it would take forever to place another order after the initial one.The server was not attentive, and it was hard to get her attention. The guacamole was okay.I ordered the chicken quesadilla. The menu stated it would come with sour cream. When the quesadilla arrived, there was no sour cream.I asked for a side of it, and the server said they ran out.I actually would not have ordered the quesadillas at all if I would have know prior to ordering it that they were out of sour cream. The quesadilla itself was extremely bland. The chicken was grilled and there was no seasoning. They did not provide any salsas or hot sauce/salsa verde for it.It was just chicken and cheese with no flavor.I thought as a Mexican restaurant, they would do well at seasoning the chicken! They only served it with a bit of guac and pico, but it did not help. The portion size was average.I felt satiated after the dinner, not full (which was fine by me).The building was also very cold.We were sat by a window and it was very drafty.Overall, poor service, bad food, and bad atmosphere. This was on a Saturday evening around 6 PM, and they were not busy.I would not recommend this restaurant.
Friday 1/5 I went to Pacos with a group of 10 on a slow Friday night around 9 pm.I ordered a double margarita of Casa Amigos and a Modelo beer from the bar.To my surprise, the tab came to a staggering $39, and when questioned, the bartender provided a vague and stuttering response, leaving me uneasy about the transparency of their pricing.I should’ve asked for itemized receipt but did not want to make a big deal about a two drink order. The lack of clarity and apparent overcharging led to a loss of trust in the establishment.Sadly, the poor service and questionable pricing forced our entire group to leave immediately.Don’t trust the bartender in picture with man bun he charges $32 for a double marg 🤦♂️
