On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This was our first time at this location.
The customer service was outstanding.
Our waitress Marisa went above and beyond providing exceptional service.
I ordered the chicken tacos with rice and beans.
The food was delicious.
The complimentary chips and salsa is one of the best that I have had.
We will return to this location.

Once again, the customer service was outstanding.
Each time we have come to this location, the manager Lynol, went above and beyond to make sure our experience at this location was exceptional.
Our waitress Jennah was fast and pleasant.
I ordered the sampler.
The food was delicious.
We are officially regulars at this location.

This is an average Mexican chain place.
They offer the classics (burrito, chimi, fajitas, etc), plus rice and beans. The chips were fresh and warm.
The salsa was a pico, and it was mild.
No medium or hot available.
The beans were bland, ordinary.
The rice has a hint of being Mexican rice, but too weak.
And the corn in the rice had a weird mouth feel. The chimi also was bland.
Not bad, just bland.
Needed more seasoning. Overall, just average.

Spent 60.00 for one of the worst meals I have ever had. Every employee, with the exception of Lucian, looked like they were tortured to be there. David, our server was horrible.
It took forever for him to even come ask what we wanted for drinks.
Sadly,it was my idea to go there,as I used to love OTB. The only thing we had that was good was the Swirl, and my Iced Tea.
My Wife ordered a Chicken plate that looked horrible.
The white rice she said wasn't bad, but everything else was bad. I will always ask for a water with my main drink as I dehydrate a lot.
My tea,and water both were empty, and David never came back to the table ( even to ask how things were ) I saw Lucian,the host,and he took it very personal.
He then made sure I had drinks the rest of the visit.
David had a crappy look on his face that I had Lucian help up, but at that point,I could care less. The other disappointment, the store was slow,and it was filthy.
3/4 of the tables were dirty,and not cleaned. We have both had service experience, and I dislike having to leave a bad review.
I feel it's important for management to hear about these experiences.
Unfortunately, I should have looked at the reviews.
It seems a lot of people feel the same way.
