There are lots of parking since it’s in a strip mall, they do have a separate area for take out orders.Roti canai was pretty small, but for the price it was a fair value.Crispy rock chicken were just small breaded deep fried chicken nuggets.Korokke (croquettes) were crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. The basil roll was made fresh but I wasn't a fan of the dipping sauce.Gyudon was hearty and filling, and the pad thai was pretty good.Pretty annoyed how they fit all of that in one paper bag causing the hot food to deform the sauce packs causing them to leak all over though.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had.I am never disappointed and always leave wanting more.Go with friends and share rolls so you can try different things -- you won't regret it at Nori Thai!
We stopped in for lunch in the middle of doing some basement clearing, because the smell was so tempting while we dropped off some donations next door at Goodwill. We were not disappointed. We ordered a stuffed jalapeño starter which was delicious. Not super spicy (I would have enjoyed a bit more kick, but understand the restraint) which was beautiful and full of flavor.I ordered the Nori Catfish because I really like a similar dish from Surin West.Well, the Nori dish is far better.Incredible ginger soy flavor on perfectly cooked chunks of catfish. My ginger salad was the best ginger salad I've ever had.It had spinach and carrots and other flavorful greens which were perfectly complimented by the tasty ginger dressing. My wife had the sushi lunch special with Super Crunch and spicy tuna rolls, served with the coconut soup. The sushi was good, but not amazing. The coconut soup was excellent, on par with Surin's.There was only one little cube of tofu, but that's forgivable. Our servers were efficient and attentive. The restaurant is much nicer inside than out, with a large bar and nice decor.Lunch prices were decent, especially for the high quality of the food and high end dining experience. For Asian-inspired food, I'd put Nori in the same class as Umami, Surin or EastWest. We will definitely return.
