We were visiting Denver and did a quick Google search for restaurants near the art museum.This location came up (Nola Janes), and it sounded like a great place to eat. We really enjoyed it.Our waitress was really cool and awesome at helping us make the best food selections as it was our first time eating there. The hush puppies were fantastic.Our meals were yummy as well.My brother had jambalaya, and I had the gator sausage po'boy.We were not disappointed! I actually started scooping my brothers jambalaya onto my po'boy it was so good! For dessert, we shared the bread pudding...I said it was the best bread pudding I've ever had, and my brother said it was his second favorite. If we visit Denver again, this place will be on our radar...I suggest trying it if you haven't been!
Enjoyed the food and the service. New Orleans ...look out.We had all 3 po'boys - gator, shrimp, and crab meat. They were good along with the rice and beans, bbq mac n cheese w shrimp. Im sure the hurricanes we drank helped with this review ☺. Gumbo was just ok.
Amazing downtown spot serving Cajun & Southern Comfort foods! If you're hanging out downtown or looking for a spot to hang out before or after a game at Ball Arena then this is the spot to check out! Delicious Creole-Cajun style cooking paired with Delicious cocktails. We had the Shrimp & Grits which were creamy and flavorful! The BBQ Shrimp Mac & Cheese which was some of the best Mac I've had in a while! As well as their super fluffy and moist cornbread. Some of the best Southern food I've had around town!
