My family had a great Sunday and went to this pizza place to feed the hungry kids. After paying, the kids ate the pizza in the car while I was driving home. They said the bottom of the pizza clutter was very burned, and they couldn't eat it, so I checked. One child took off the cluster, threw it away, and ate only the cheese. When I turned the back of the pizza and saw that it was so black, I told the kids not to eat it. Would you be able to feed this blackened pizza to your children? If I had checked under the pizza when I picked it up, I wouldn't have bought it. Since I was already on my way home, I couldn't file a claim, so I came home, took a picture, and threw it away. I'm so disappointed this shop!!! I wish people who make and sell pizza would think about the health of their customers rather than just thinking about money. Burnt food causes cancer.
This pizza stop will be a must have every time I am in DC! The crust was the best I have ever had due to the perfect crisp AND flavor! Plus, the customer service was incredible. We went at dinner time and then again as a late night “snack.” If you like cold pizza the next morning, make sure to get an extra slice or two! It was delicious then, too! Also.Kudos to the person who picks the music vibe.It made me dance as I waited!
I ordered a specialty pizza, which the menu listed as $29.That price is ridiculous enough, but the total came to $34.19.I asked why, they told me because of the 10% tax in DC.I left to get something back at my hotel and started doing the math. That’s way more than 10%.I went back to pick up the pizza and asked to see the receipt. They charged me $29.99 and not $29 as listed. They charged 10% DC tax (Not a problem). And…wait for it…THEY CHARGED ME A PACKAGING FEE! 😂😂😂 What pizza place charging $30 for a large pizza then charges for the box!?! What pizza place charging anything charges for the box? 😂 At least be up front about it.Oh…and the pizza is maybe a three out of ten. Most frozen pizzas are much, much better. If this was the last pizza place on earth, I would order Chinese.
