First of all the atmosphere is this place is amazing we just want to be part of it🥳 Med was great to host and was able to get us a table right away since we were on a time crunch! Great hospitality, wish we had this place in Chicago!! Mona was a great waitress, friendly and very knowledgeable! The food was amazing and took me back to Roma ❤️ Can't wait to go back 🌟
We had an absolutely lovely dinner at Lupo Marino.Every food bite was absolutely delicious.Fantastic seafood, pasta, and pizza in a lovely atmosphere. If you haven’t been to The Wharf area in DC, this revitalized area along the river offers many great dining options…..and I suggest checking out Lupo Marino for sure.
I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the food was undeniably fresh and delicious, I couldn't help but be disappointed by a few aspects of the experience. The portion sizes left much to be desired; they were on the smaller side, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. The pricing was a concern as well, especially given the lack of any scenic outdoor view.To make matters worse, the doors were kept open, and the interior was uncomfortably warm. The place is quite small and little bit congested.I found it hard to justify the premium prices in such an environment. What caught me off guard was the unexpected 3% restaurant fee, which I believe should have been made clear upfront. To add to this, the server brought the bill with a tab for the tip starting at a minimum of 20%, and they stand literally next to you seeing what you are selecting which I felt a bit pushy. To make matters more confusing, I later discovered that the tip charges were calculated post-tax, not pre-tax, which left me feeling a bit misled. In summary, while the food quality was excellent, the overall dining experience left a lot to be desired due to the pricing, fees, and service approach. I may not visit it again and would want to explore other reasonable restaurants in the area.
