I was here the evening of April 12th, 2024.The food was delicious, the best Monfongo in Boston.I mean, it tasted so good, I was thinking about it the next day.The creole sauce on top of the monfongo was absolutely mouthwatering and so flavorful.I loved that it poured out middle.Everything on the plate was so fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. I will say, be prepared to have a pretty long wait time. The food is absolutely delicious for a reason because they take their time.If you're in a rush, get something that is out and ready.Other than the food that is out and ready, you will have a long waiting time, but it is surely worth the wait. All the employees were kind and pleasant. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.
I've been to Mofongo Factory several times.Food is very tasty, place is clean, and staff is friendly, and plays good ambience music. They have a variety of food that is already made at front counter and food that isn't.I recommend the CAMAROFONGO, which is mofongo topped with shrimp.I had my mofongo mixed with chicharron(fried pork rinds) and topped with creamy shrimps.Keep in mind that they do make this particular dish fresh so you have to wait for it.The wait is worth it.They have the best mofongos I've eaten in Boston! Bon appetit!
LOVE THE BUILD YOUR OWN MOFONGO CONCEPT Ordered online.Might have to wait longer then it says.Order pickup said 20 minutes and it wasn't ready when I got there 20 minutes later.I sat outside and ate some of my mofongo because i hadnt eaten all day.I didnt use the sauce so it was a little dry but the lime in the meat and the mofongo itself was good.Im sure with the sauce it would have been much better.I also ordered a rice plate with beef. They could have put a piece or 2 more of beef but the rice was good.Place itself was nice and clean. The bathroom scored a B in my opinion. They also have empanadas I'll have to try when I go back.
