Matoi is a must-visit sushi gem in San Diego! 🍣

We dined at the intimate sushi bar with a reservation for the omakase experience, and it did not disappoint. Chef TJ was not only hilarious but also incredibly passionate about each dish he served.

The fresh seasonal fish and expertly crafted nigiri were beautifully presented, with an unforgettable hand roll that we managed to squeeze in! The three-hour meal was more than worth it, leaving us satisfied and eager to return. Can't wait for my next visit next week! 🌟
