I’m only leaving this review because my husband and I both got sick & got diarrhea after eating here a few days ago!! Mine was almost immediately after we left the restaurant (& this only ever happens when I have consumed raw egg or meat that wasn’t properly prepared), and my husband’s stomach issue started overnight.
My husband mentioned after that he also saw one of the employees sneeze and not wash his hands.
Please properly train your staff on proper hygiene when working around food that they serve to people!! Once seated, practically no service aside from giving your water in the beginning and bringing your food out. Was looking forward to yummy Taiwanese food but as other reviews have mentioned, this place isn’t really authentic.
It took a while to get our food as well.
The noodles that came with the beef noodle soup was an odd choice and tasted too much like pasta, rather than noodles meant to complement soup.
They also torched the beef for all the soup bowls that came out from the kitchen, which was a little unnecessary & just made you wait even more for your food. Minced pork over rice was better.
Mango Jasmine ice tea was good.
Sesame wontons were just okay - too much sauce and all I could taste was the sesame. Came here because of the good reviews, but I quickly realized this place has the same owners as Steamy Piggy when I saw the pig on the wall and my drink cup said Steamy Piggy.
I did like Steamy Piggy when I went there and even gave them 5 stars because we honestly liked the food, so know that I am not being biased with this review! But I do know they offer free drinks or discounts on your drinks in exchange for writing a review / mentioning your server hence why you’ll see a bunch of reviews in a row), so now I know how this place got such high ratings as well.
But seriously I am disappointed because my stomach is still recovering from this!

We snuck in at 5:30 and the place was quiet but not when e left at 7pm.
The Scallion pancake was freshly made, hot and crispy, just the right balance of dough to crisp.
Highly recommend! The drinks were ok, but not the highlight.
Not much service but the food made up for it.
A thumbs up if you seek out tasty.

Got the pork over rice and sesame noodles with beef rib and beef roll. Pork was too salty.
They're heavy handed with the soy sauce.
Too much rice for too little pork.
Rice wasn't made well, it was wet and clumpy.
Pickled cucumber was good though.
I guess justifies the 12 dollar price tag. Sesame noodles lacked the fragrance most Chinese/Taiwanese food have.
Which is weird because the chili oil was visible.
It simply didn't taste that great, maybe lacked the sesame flavor? Beef roll was on happy hour for about 10.50.
Small portion, taste is not what I was used to, but was ok. Yuzu lemonade was delicious.

Y'all need to hire another server.
Poor server was going ham by herself.
She did a good job though! She was bartending, taking care of of new guests, cleaning up.
Everything! One back staff didn't flush the toilet or wash his hands.
