My wife and I are big burger fans and were looking for a place to go for our anniversary trip to the Alamo/Riverwalk.
Mark's isn't on the walk of course, but it's plenty close enough.
In any event we chose this place because of all the reviews we read that specifically mentioned the quality of the home made buns and the beef...and those people were spot on.
I'm not ready to crown this place as the best burger in San Antonio, because there's quite a few great burger joints in this city, but the buns ARE fantastic and the beef is high quality and perfectly seasoned.
I also appreciate that the fries are not doused with too much salt.
So many restaurants hide the great taste of their fries behind a pile of salt, but not at Mark's! Anyway, I had the spicy jalapeno burger and it was GREAT.
Can't wait to come back to try the Chili Burger.

I was in the mood for a delicious tasty burger, so I decided to go here. The service was awesome.
The person who took my order was very friendly and advised me on their most popular sides to help me make my decision on either fries or tots. I ended up going with the bbq burger 1/2 pounder and added bacon.
The burger was very juicy and delicious.
The beef was really soft and did not have that burnt taste like some places.
The other ingredients on the burger were fresh as expected.
The bun was exactly how a burger bun should be.
The bottom and top buns were lightly toasted, and it was the right amount of breading.
It was not too thick or thin, and it was not soggy, meaning you could hold your burger without your fingers going through the bread. The tots were like any other well cooked tots, crispy on the out and yummy on the in. I would definitely recommend this place as the service and the food was awesome.

I must say that the burgers at this place is amazing! The service was great and the atmosphere was nice.
I definitely recommend if you want a good burger!
