I’ve been hearing Mama Crow’s for a while and was really excited to try them out.First the good, the Crow burger was good.Wasn’t sure I would like the crow sauce but it was a nice compliment to a good burger—solid 8 out of 10. The not so good part were the fries.I tried the Troublemaker fries that come with chili. They just tasted ok I guess but they didn’t look all that appealing.I’m going to also mention that I came in 30 minutes before closing so maybe that factored in, not sure. I’m definitely gonna try them again and maybe just go with the basic Crow fries.Overall, it’s a decent spot.If the fries were better they would’ve gotten 4 stars from me.
If you are a lover of cheese and especially goat cheese, order the smash patty. It was divine. The best burger I have had in a long time. The meat itself was cooked to perfection, had cheese curds cooked in it and then had goat cheese melted on it on toasted bread. It was perfect because I hate massive buns on burgers. It was juicy and full of flavor. Also got an order of fries which was enough for 3 of us to share.I would have put up a picture, but I was hungry and ate it too fast
All things were slightly above average. This restaurant stall is located in Transfer Co.The person working the register was pleasant. She answered questions that we had about the menu and gave suggestions. It was a slow Sunday evening and none of the stalls were very busy. We ordered the Reaper Burger, Patty Smash Burger, and Crow fries. Both burgers were good.Smash burger was the best of the two.The toppings were fresh and that's where all of the flavor comes from. The burgers definitely need to be seasoned better. The fries were great.Well seasoned and crispy. It's overpriced as food halls tent to be but one should come with that expectation. Although it was a good experience, I'm not sure if I'll go back just for the food. There are other places in the area with better burgers. The food all experience and variety is a reason to go.
