Usually I love the food here but tonight was VERY disappointing.I specifically told the cashier I wanted vegetable pho with NO protein except tofu.In the past, this was not an issue.Tonight the cashier was more interested in his phone then keying in the correct order. The photo is all that is going in the garbage.Ruined what could have been a good pho
I'm not vegetarian/vegan but I'm not opposed to having vege/vegan food.Decided to try here for lunch after shopping in the mall. I ordered the spicy royal just because the picture looked good, but I didn't realize it's supposed to be the vegan version of bun bo hue which is my favorite dish! The broth was delicious and I didn't miss any meat/meat flavoring at all.I devoured it quickly and enjoyed every bite. The dish didn't look large but it was very filling.Overall a satisfying meal.
Saturday evening takeout(1st visit): 1.Ordered Lemongrass tofu. 2.It’s very good, semi spicy, a stir fry, so a dry dish.Lots of veggies. If you’re in a mood for wet/curryish dish, it may not work for you. 3.The wait time after order was like 10-15 minutes.Price was reasonable as well.I’d definitely visit again to try other stuff. Monday evening takeout(2nd visit): 1.Ordered Sesame bites, side of golden wonton and fries. 2.Sesame bites are too good, not spicy, wet dish with sesame and brown sauce.Lots of broccoli. If you’re in a mood for dry dish, it may not work for you.Golden wontons we’re okay(would have way better if it was clubbed with a sweet and sour sauce) but fries were meh(possibly due to pick up). 3.The wait time after order was like 10-15 minutes.Price was reasonable as well.
