Yum! First shout out to our waiter, Kyle! He was awesome! If you're feeling adventurous or just want to have a good meal, definitely check Lonesome Dove out.We had the rabbit-rattlesnake sausage😱, and the Kangaroo nachos...yum! Would recommend both. The prime rib was cooked to perfection...Had lunch but will definitely go back for dinner...
We had high expectations that were exceeded on our first visit to Lonesome Dove.Friendly, attentive, helpful service was a highlight.Everything we ordered was fantastic: rattlesnake-rabbit sausage, wedge salad, garlic-stuffed tenderloin, elk loin, ancho chili chocolate cake. The only slight negative was the blinding sun every time the door opened, but that can’t be helped. In all, an outstandingly memorable meal, and we hope to be back soon.
Loved the atmosphere, our waiter was great, but the food was a hit and miss for me. For the price, I was expecting a bit more beauty on the plate and the cook e more spot on. Our steak was good till we got to the middle and was a Gordon Ramsey moment. He would be screaming, TOUCH THAT, ITS COLD IN THE MIDDLE..LOL.. We were with family, or I would have said something. Overall, we made family memories. My suggestion are the appetizers. But ask how that works first. We paid $99 for one of the THREE we ordered 🤑 The rabbit, rattlesnake sausage was good stuff, but the hush puppies were my favorite. Bon appetite 🥰
