A home run! Just loved the whole vibe and menu here which was both elevated and so distinctly Texan.
It made for the perfect dinner for our one night in Austin.
The service was both friendly and helpful with our server providing great recommendations for our first visit here.
We started with a buck and pork belly charcuterie which was a nice starter.
The rattlesnake rabbit sausage was outstanding - flavorful and and juicy, perfectly balanced by the crispy potatoes.
For mains we had the elk and rabbit ravioli.
Of the two, the elk was the star.
Perfectly cooked with a wonderful rub, it was my favorite dish of the night.
The rabbit was also very good, though we found the sauce a bit on the salty side.
The ancho lava cake was the perfect finish - delicious.
Overall, it was a wonderful evening!

This was the best restaurant I have ever had the pleaser of dinning at.
All in all everything was amazing, the people the lighting.
All together is the best place to go for a romantic dinner or just wanting amazing Quality food.
You truly pay for what you are getting here!!

Lonesome Dove was excellent.
The waitstaff were attentive and helpful.
The setting and ambience were perfect.
The wild game aspect was fun and delicious.
