Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Chicken Katsu and Loco Moco with sunny side up egg.The chicken katsu was a bit drier than usual and the pieces are unevenly cut (if cut at all). The loco moco was good and they were generous on the gravy! Wish the egg had a bit more fry at the bottom edge. Service: 5/5 - very short interaction but friendly and quick. Ambiance: 5/5 - typical of an L&L where the tables are clean but the signs and decorations are a bit worn. Value for price: 5/5 - our go to chain but not the best location we've been to in terms of food. However, reasonable price, quick service, and decent food means we'll continue to visit this chain!
I came for malasadas en route to other errands. When I walked in, the smell of the restaurant was not good...as if something had gone bad.I almost walked out, but I figured I only wanted malasadas. Unfortunately, that was not a good experience either. The smell of them was of old overused frying oil and the taste was bad, and as if the same oil used all day for food was used for the donuts.I had one and could not eat any of the other ones, threw them out (you can only order a set of them instead of choosing a couple; there were 7 in my box, so unfortunately a waste of money). It's my first time here, but can't say I'd return.
Terrible service.Absolutely unprofessional. The lady with the glasses was completely rude to me and my wife. She could not understand us and messed up our order. There was also her hair in her our food.I do not recommend going if she is there.
