First time visit. We stumbled onto the Little Water Cantina as we were trying to leave Seattle, after a trip.Just got turned around a bit.Happened in at Lunch time.Almost the first customers.Menu via QR code.Table service by host.Ordering was done via our server.Sat on the covered patio, which has mostly picnic bench style seating.Service was very good.We ordered a beef barbacoa burrito and two grilled fish tacos with rice and beans, along with chips, salsa and guacamole. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. The burrito was wrapped in foil and served with a lemon wedge and a bit of salsa. The tacos, rice and beans were plated well and of decent portion size.A couple things didn't quite meet our expectations. The rice and beans were barely warm and the rice was not very flavorful. Also, the chips and salsa are not complimentary.I can say I enjoyed the burrito very much. This lunch for two was $60 before tip.In spite of the shortcomings, the atmosphere (patio overlooking Lake Union and several marinas) and the restaurant's decor are favorable. And, the tacos, burrito, chips, salsa and guacamole were very good, in my opinion.
Great food and atmosphere.Ordering is a little weird - you scan a QR code and then order and pay, then your food is brought out.I don't mind less server contact, because sometimes it's a bit much, but somehow the food prices and tip are on par with other places where you do get that service, so the math is off somewhere.Anyway, I'm mentioning it here so you're not surprised when you get there. The food was delicious, and the people we did have contact with were very nice. We, unfortunately, couldn't get a table on the deck, but the view is great, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.I'd say get there early if you want a deck table. There doesn't appear to be a happy hour menu at this restaurant, but it's tacos, so not overly pricey anyway. Overall, we had a good time and would come here again.
What a hidden gem! Beautiful patio, friendly staff and yummy watermelon margarita.I recommend the chili pepper salted rim with drink and the veggie quesidilla with added grilled shrimp :) I'll be back!
