French restaurant, Restaurant, Wine bar
In one word - delicious! First time here, I seriously wanted to try the whole menu, but we settled on a few items.French onion soup was one of the best ones I've ever had.The mushroom and brie appetizer was creamy and mushroomy ;-) my girlfriend had the daily special - halibut. It just melts in your mouth.I had the beef Wellington which was cooked too perfection, medium rare, absolutely amazing.Beers were cold, and our creme brulee dessert together with a couple of cocktails were the last nail in the coffin.Highly recommend, I'll be back to try more food.Service was extra professional.
A true diamond in the rough. An unpretentious exterior and parking lot hide what is an amazing French dining experience. The owner, Gordon Berger, serves up a short but very adequate array of fine entrees at reasonable prices. We loved the steak options and the salmon was among the best I have ever had.Did not try the escargot or mussels but we should have. The French onion soup was only average. The desserts were amazing especially the crème brûlée! We will be back for more awesomeness! VictorB
