First time visiting this location, Not a good experience! My husband & I decided to get dinner and our usual place closes @9 so we decided to try something new and go to this place.I ordered a paella & he ordered guachinango ala Veracruzana. The only thing good we’re the empanadas!! My food was not the best but ok had no flavor. The guachinango he ordered had a really bad taste from one side like the fish was spoiled, he tried to eat it from one side but just could not eat it.We told the waitress but she said he couldn’t do anything because the owner was gone.I guess we should’ve checked the reviews first because this place seems to be very popular when it comes to bad experiences smh definitely never coming back here.& no I did not leave a tip for a service and food I was not pleased with!!
Food was not super bad in a point, but we ordered a molcajete, and the cheese was spoiled.I told the waitresse and she asked the kitchen. The response was that it was a new pack of cheese they opened. She did not apologize for that and did not ask if we wanted to change our meal.We just took the cheese out.We also ordered some green enchiladas, and the chicken was not your typical shredded checken. It was grilled and hard, and the salsa was not green, but it tasted ok.Shrimp empanadas and ostiones were good, and the drinks were really good.Overall, it was not super horrible, but I wish the experience was better. The waitresses only came 2 times, and I had to call another waitress to check us out.
Small portions, big prices Pay attention to receipt. Was getting charged a non cash service fee, when cash was the only acceptable payment at the time. Gratuity added on parties of 4 or more So waitress pays no mind to you.We were the only table in there at noon on a Wednesday
