La Cocina De Anita is a little slice of Mexico nestled in Escondido! 🌮 The ambiance is cozy and casual, perfect for all occasions. I stopped by for brunch and was blown away by their huevos rancheros - bursting with flavor and served quickly.

The outdoor seating was a nice bonus, giving it a relaxed vibe. Plus, their kid's menu kept my little one happy!

With quick service and a solid selection of beers and wines, it's a fantastic spot for a solo meal or family gathering. Can't wait to come back for dinner! 🎉

This was my first time here and it was delicious!! I ordered an agua fresca de piña, freshly made! And it was amazing, the chilaquiles were spot on and super yummy as well as the machaca burrito.
Definitivamente regresare.

I will share my experience in Spanish as well. This was my second time being a customer, I ordered the birria and picture below will exactly tell you why I called the restaurant to talk to someone first employee said come I’ll refund you , 30 min later I get a call from the owner saying it wasn’t fair to do a refund because she was not going to take a loss.
I explained her my concerned about the meat being extremely dried with no salsa or flavor she said do whatever I’m not refunding you, I waisted my lunch time I didn’t eat she was just speaking over is so unfortunate people being this way not caring about their customer all they care is about money! I said I’ll gladly take the plate back so you can see it she argued with me told me bad things. God bless her soul tho I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
The plate of birria was $18.99 plus tax it’s not even worth $2 if you want to waste your time and money go here 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ok so when friends told us about this place we didn't want to come because it looks old and small, DON'T let that fool you, if you want to taste real Mexican food and flavors, you need to give this place a visit and try their dishes, from the service to the food everything really good.
