I use to go to K&W for years when I was younger.This is my first time going since they moved out of the Hotel.The outside looks great.The onside is updated.I ordered country style steak, rice with gravy, cabbage and banana Pudding.The food was excellent.Both drink stations were out of lemonade.The waitress was very good but a little slow to get to us.I'm not holding that against her because she was hosting a large party and us at the same time.Overall the food was great and prices were reasonable.

I love their turkey and dressing.I have never had a bad experience here.Everyone is so nice and helpful.

I visited K&W yesterday afternoon.I hadn't eaten all day, and was really hungry.I was immediately struck by the lack of urgency and professionalism by the staff.It took a long time for anyone to take my order, even though several workes were nearby, talking and joking.I ordered baked fish, green beans, candied yams, and a salad, along with unsweetened tea.As I cut into the fish, I noticed that the fish was not thoroughly cooked.I showed the fish to the cashier (who was very nice) and a waitress who told me to ask for a replacement for the fish, and I would not be charged.When I told the server what I was instructed to do, she argued that the fish was done, (even though she didn't see it) and said she had to check with her supervisor first.The supervisor arrived, apologized, and I chose the liver.The server gave it to me in a "to go" box, instead of a dish, which made it awkward in eating my full meal.The green beans were bland, while the salad and yams were okay.A couple near me told me they were returning their meal, because it was cold.I spoke with another couple who was leaving as I was leaving, and they said they left without finishing their meal because it tasted terrible.There was a general lack of professionalism throughout the entire restaurant.It is clear to me that most of the staff there are just going through the motions.When I was first stationed here, this place had a great reputation with great food and service.It's apparent to me that someone has allowed this place to completely collapse.Very, very disappointing.I won't be back.
