KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

My daughter went here for her friend’s birthday dinner.
The service was good but the prices are ridiculous.
For one person at this dinner, she was charged $71 dollars.
That’s just crazy to me.
You cook your own food at the table.
$16 for a margarita and two additional dollars because it’s peach.
Crazy to me.
The cost to eat out now days is ridiculous.
$71 for one person.

First time going to KPOT coming from California, we LOVE Kbbq & Hotpot! Actually going inside it smelled good, and got our mouths watering.
Sat down and opted to go for just the kbbq because the crab was sold out for the day (it was lunch time) and that is what I was looking forward to with the hot pot.
We took our picky toddler with us because I saw online they usually have french fries and chicken nuggets at the self serve bar but they did not have chicken this day.
You order on a tablet and they have someone bring your meat order out to you, however the little plates they bring to you have literally two bites of meat on them and you have to order and wait for another plate with 2 more bites on it.
A waste of the 2 hour dining time you have, as we waited the majority of our time there and often did not get meat we ordered.
In my observation there were only 2 kitchen runners and roughly 5 or 6 servers who were all at the corner of the bar laughing and on their phones.
This probably explains the long wait for our meat orders to come out.
Lastly, I paid with cash and was told by our waitress it needed to be exact change because she did not have any cash to give change back.
I thought that was odd, and I noticed another table pay cash too and their waiter was scrambling asking the other servers if they had change to help break the tables change.
Does this establishment not take cash? Or are the servers pocketing the cash?? This was very weird to me.
I don’t think I will be back.
Another note, in California KBBQ usually has rice paper wraps, steamed egg and cheese corn but this place does not.
However appreciated the self serve sauce bar.

The service & atmosphere here is great! My waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and suggested great food for me to try.
It’s something here for everyone and a great variety on display.
I went here for lunch between 12:30pm-2pm.
You get 2 hours to eat and it’s buffet style ALL YOU CAN EAT.
