My family & I dined at the Kimchi Factory over the weekend & really enjoyed our meal. Our waiter, Sunny, was great! My parents ordered the Kimbab appetizers (one pork & one beef) & raved about them.My mom liked the Kimbab appetizer more than she liked the beef Bulgogi she ordered as her entrée.My dad ordered the pork Bulgogi & it was very good! The veggies were nice & crunchy & the pork was seasoned to perfection & tender. My mom's beef Bulgogi was okay.It did not have a lot of the Bulgogi sauce on it & she said the meat was kind of tough.I ordered the dumplings as an appetizer & they were VERY GOOD! Steamed to perfection & tasty! I think you get a total of 5 to 6 dumplings. For my entrée, I ordered the LA Galbi (beef short ribs) & they were kind of tough also. The seasoning was good but I wouldn't order it again. We also loved the eggplant & bean sprouts that came out with our dishes. Both were very tasty. Parking wasn't difficult, because we arrived when they first opened, but I could see it being an issue if you arrive when they're very busy. The spaces are tight & few. There are a lot of 'Do not park' or 'Reserved' areas that I fear could get ones car towed.Be careful & check the sign near where you park. All in all, I'd recommend Kimchi Factory because we will definitely return.
There was so much black pepper in the Kimbap and Japchae that I couldn't taste anything else. It's the first time I've had black pepper in Kimbap and Japchae at a Korean restaurant.Did the chef mix up sesame and black pepper?🫢lol Anyway, it was an experience that didn't match the price and was disappointed.
What a wonderful experience my wife and I had here.DO NOT listen to the bad reviews, IMO, those people are off their roclers.Everything was incredible! And contrary to othwrs thoughts, everything was fresh made. The owner, (I forgot to get her name), does EVERYRHING! She serves, prepares, cleans. And with all of that she took the time to visit with us.The banchan is all made there fresh. The kimchi, and cucumber salad were very fresh and the best we have had to date. She makes her own Gochujang, (Korean pepper sauce), and it was awesome. My wife had the Japchae, and I had the stone pot Bibimbap.Wow! We also had some dumplings. The portions were generous. So much so that we had some to bring with us for another meal. This is definitely on our list of places we MUST stop for any time we are traveling through Macon! Even though the parking can be a challenge, it is well worth it!
