Food was so yummy! It’s a little expensive but superrr worth it! The plates are huge.
The appetizers were huge as well.
Really worth your money.
The blackberry sweet tea was not like anything I’ve tried before I loved it.
Probably the best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had.
and our waitress Paola D was super friendly and funny.
10/10 experience would recommend.
Way better than Olive Garden or any other mainstream place.

We decided to give it a try as we have not been to a Carino’s in over a year or two.
Unfortunately we haven’t been missing anything.
The service was lacking and they were far from busy.
The staff kept bumping the back of my chair and there was plenty of room.
We had to ask to have our water refilled.
Starting with the bread and garlic olive oil, it’s changed, no more delicious herbs or roasted garlic.
The garlic was the consistency of toffee and stuck to our teeth.
They also don’t have oil bottles on the tables anymore.
The mozzarella sticks were a little grainy.
I asked for a Caesar salad but received a house, the lettuce tasted like a freezer and the dressing was no where to be found.
Our entrees were the better part of our meal.
The cheese tort with meat sauce and fettuccine Alfredo were nice but still not quite up to par.
Finally the turtle cheesecake it was very dense and heavy, appears to be straight from the freezer.
Really, go to just about any locally owned Italian restaurant and you have a much more pleasant experience.

I had the lasagna.
I don’t eat much Italian so I don’t have a huge reference, but I felt the cheese inside was a very small amount, dry, and I couldn’t taste it.
The overwhelming flavor of this dish was sharp acidic pasta sauce, and the meat flavor and texture was hardly indistinguishable from Chef Boyardee in the can. Not bad though.
My first loaf of bread was amazing.
Salty, buttery, crispy but soft it was perfect.
Second loaf was chewy.
Appetizer was decent bar food, and the salad was good but it’s hard to mess up lettuce and dressing. All in all, nothing to write home about, and no reason to come back.
Also it was absolutely freezing inside and it’s like 70 outside.
