Guporam, where to start 🤦 Your restaurant hours for lunch are 11am till 2pm, so your employee should not remove items before 2pm. We came at 1:15pm, and the first thing said to us was we close at 2pm.
Why not say welcome and enjoy the food.
You still have 45 minutes before closing. We saw a customer who came in at 1:40pm, he was told at the door that we would close in a few minutes, he walked away, you lost a sale and a customer. Compared to 20 years ago where gopuram started on 23rd Street, this local restaurant is nowhere close to the quality and standards which kept customers coming back. I am not going to get into the quality of food, not surprised.
However we were very disappointed to pay $12.99 plus tax, for 4 people $56.60 with tax add another $6-$8 for tips.
So about $64 bucks. The butter chicken was watered down and there was nothing on the buffet line, when we asked for it, employee Omar chopped down some raw chicken breast and quickly cooked it in the sauce, let me be honest the chicken meat was raw, chewy and dangerous undercooked. Owner Verun, Kindly take this review as a chance to improve your restaurant's guest experience. You have worked very hard before to maintain the quality and food standard.
This is not how we remembered Gopuram.

I love this so much! I've eaten at Gopuram over 30 years and it's consistently delicious.
They have the best Tikka Masala and I've tried it everywhere.
Be sure to try the tomato chutney.
The location is a little run down but always clean and the young man that runs the buffet is so friendly.
He will bring fresh Naan, chicken, whatever.
