This was a neat find! Clam chowder was filled with clam meat and velvety.I ordered the Cod fish fry.Excellent cod, flaky, juicy and fresh. The sand dollars were home made potato chips with parm cheese, yum! Was hoping it would be potato cakes though.Ambiance definitely made one feel they were on a boat with the nautical fanfare where we sat.Wish this was closer to us!

I like getting fish fry every Friday so I thought I’d give this place a try. It’s kind of a hidden gem.I got the Cod plate with sweet potato fries for a dollar extra. My total was only 14 dollars, just a water as a drink. The fish fry itself was amazing.Portion size for the fish was a little underwhelming, the fries were a lot which I appreciate, and the coleslaw wasn’t bad.I ate my meal outside and it was a good experience. The service was good.I will definitely say it’s a good fish fry place. IMPROVEMENTS: -Larger pieces of fish -Different types of breading for more variety maybe beer batter or panko.

Nice restaurant located in the heart of the marina yards in downtown Racine. While there are handicap spots here, it can be a little tight in certain spots of the restaurant to maneuver.Nice and fairly simple menu. The lobster grilled cheese was very very rich. The bread is garlic buttered, lots of cheese and lots of “lobster meat”.If you like heavily savory and rich you’ll like it.Slightly overpowered for my taste.Fries were good, cooked perfectly.Soup was Tuscan sausage and potato…but no potato in our bowl.BLT was your typical BLT, except the bread was buttered on every side, making it quite rich.Sand dollars were cooked well, but are missing something from the seasoning, perhaps salt.Service was friendly, prompt and attentive.Decor is cozy making it an enjoyable atmosphere.Would like to come back and try a burger on the patio when it gets warmer.
