This was my first time eating at Jack Stack BBQ after living in Kansas City my whole life. Jack Stack is different than most BBQ restaurants in KC because they actually have servers taking your orders. Jack Stack is more pricier compared to most KC BBQ places but Jack Stack is more known and an actual franchise in the metro. I had the Martin City Mayor sandwich which includes brisket, pork and coleslaw on it. I enjoyed the fries as a side. We ordered the onion rings and cornbread for the appetizer.
I didn’t like that the cornbread had jalapeños and wasn’t sweat like other KC BBQ restaurants that serve cornbread. The restaurant had plenty of room and wasn’t busy at the time.

If I told you that you’d have some of the greatest bbq meats you’d tasted at this location would you try it out? There are many in the city, and each has its specific highlight.
In this case there must be five bbq champs back there cooking each of the various meats! Wow.
Fall apart wings.
Tender spare and baby backs.
Pulled pork smoked with just a taste of smoke but all the juice and tenderness left on it.
You Won’t be sorry to try Dipping the fries in the beans.
They got it all right.
And the big bull out front stands for it! Thanks for the friendly service too; the Jovial server added a bit extra fun to dinner!

For person who lives in Kansas City, this place is a staple! Their mushrooms are amazing, and nothing can beat them.
Overall the thing you have to get while you're there is the carrot cake! Oh my gosh this is the best carrot cake I've ever tasted in my life! Their barbecue is always good, and the sauce they put on top of everything is amazing.
I have recently gotten the pulled park mac and cheese, and it makes your mouth water after you get it.
So good, and the people who work there are always nice.
