It’s been years since I’ve been to an IHOP and I was impressed with the menu options.Far beyond a pancake house, there are many options for healthier eating with fresh ingredients.I opted for the Plant Based Impossible sausage Power Combo which had two cage free scrambled egg whites, two Impossible sausage patties, fresh fruit and two protein Powder pancakes. It is a hearty breakfast for 760 calories. The pancakes are made with chia seeds, oats, barley, and rye, have a dense texture, and are very good. They have an excellent senior menu for $8.99.Very good handicapped parking and exceptionally clean. We paid $31.19 plus tip for a senior breakfast plate, the Impossible sausage power combo and two coffees.
We went last weekend and we were seated right away.About 20 minutes later a waitress came and asked if we were told it would be at least 45 minutes before we would get our order.(we didn't even have drinks at this point). We said no, left and went somewhere else.We love the pancakes but the place is always understaffed.

We went at 11:45 pm on a Saturday night. There was only one server. She was great, pleasant, and working hard. I ordered the a pinch mushroom omelet (one of my favorites) and blueberry pancakes. My omelet did not come with the hollandaise sauce (no biggie), the blueberry pancakes came with whipped cream (unexpected). It was delicious anyway.I think there should have been at least one other server there. It wasn't packed but there were a bunch of people there.
