Wanted to see what's happening here since this is the new talk of the town! For sure, the food was good.Served fast too.Waffles, lamb chops and the cheesy grits are very tasty. Surprised about payment method to pay before the order is completed - not a problem. However as a first time patron, i can't pay a big tip and not sure about the dine-in service. The place is small and quaint.A better location all together would be great. For aesthetics, more room (quite a crowd), comfort.I didn't care for the music, more than one song dropping 'F" bombs and other curse words loudly while eating with my kids.Is this not a family restaurant? (I'd say not). That was very distasteful.Have it your way Hash served with only cheese (supposed to have a few toppings), hubby waited awhile for butter for his waffle, it was almost cold so he had to get his own from the front counter.Toppings finally came for the hash and they were fresh. This is what I mean about paying a tip up front.Spoiler - they don't serve pancakes.I'd love to try the crab dishes and blueberry waffles. Nevertheless, the meal overall was still very good, can't take away from that.Undecided if I'll ever dine innagain...maybe carry out.
The food was absolutely amazing and delicious.I loved the music and the vibe.I highly recommend a visit here.We definitely will be back.
Hubby and I have been trying to get here for a while. They close around 6 or 7 pm. The first time eating from there, we had take out.I got the Shrimp Po Boy Sub which was recommended by the staff who were very welcoming and knowledgeable.Hubby got their Catfish which was a large piece. He enjoyed it.Last night we were able to eat in.This place used to be a Wendy's.Very nice ambiance and enjoyed the Kenny K mix tape music: had me dancing in my seat. The waitress came and took our orders: Hubby got the Shrimp and Grits with the sauce on the side (didn't want it to be too spicy) and I got the Lamb Lollipops which I had been craving. The 4 Lamb Lollipops were very tasty; Resting on a bed of spinach with strawberry and a lemon wedge, they were meaty and flavorable. The Shrimp and Grits came in a large bowl.Nice sized shrimp were very tasty and the grits were cooked well. There were slices of andoulie sausage and peppers. The sauce turned out not to be spicy at all.An excellent meal all around. Will definitely be back.
