I'm already excited about my next visit.
The food is locally sourced and tastes fresh and delicious.
I recommend the fried green tomatoes, cinnamon roll, and mimosa flight.
Make a reservation or sit at the bar to avoid the wait.
And special shout out to Megan bartender extraordinaire.
She delivers great service and makes a great drink.

Our waitress at Homesteader was very kind and funny.
She was awesome! The mimosas were good, and so was the fried tomato appetizer.
The vegetarian burrito was kind of gross and super wet (if you’re into wet and bland burritos, you might like it).
My boyfriend enjoyed chicken and waffles.
The fried tomatoes were the best part of the meal, by far! I think this place was good overall, but I would not recommend the vegetarian burrito🤮

So good! Great gem in KC, listen for the specials, WORTH it! The Bison Gravy was AMAZING treat to the soft and fluffy biscuits! Pancakes were super fluffy and beyond delicious! Cinnamon roll "appetizer" was the best idea ever for us!
