Our sweet daughter treated us to dinner, we went out to celebrate and had an urge for seafood, we went to Harbor Inn Seafood, University City area.
There was a special as you come in the door that I chose for jumbo shrimp, oysters, scallops and haddock, my daughter got whole catfish and oysters and my wife had whole flounder.
Everything was prepared perfectly, very fresh and delicious, the server was outstanding, on the way out we stopped at the desert display, they had huge 4 layer cake slices of around eight different varieties, my wife has a coconut cake, it was refresh and delicious, tasted homemade.
Great night out, we'll be back 💕

Hummingbird cake is pineapple, banana, and walnuts! Didn't think the fried seafood was as greasy as some other people posted.

I went to Harbor Inn Seafood and I got the fried seafood platter with fried catfish and clam strips.
The platter came with fries and hush puppies.
The food was a 10/10 recommend! The catfish was delicious and the clam strips were nice and crunchy.
The only reason I gave a 4/5 on the food was because of the cake.
The cake itself was good but definitely didn’t have enough frosting and the layers of frosting were extremely uneven and thin, as you can see in the picture below.
Overall I will go back here again, but I’ll leave the cake in the display window!
