The food, the service, the atmosphere were all great.
It's like walking back in time...
and that's a good thing.
No extra hustle and bustle just a good diner.
The vegetable soup was so good- warmed me up immediately.
I had an odd taste for beets that day.
The meatball sub was perfection flavor and amount.
My server was a kind young man from Greece and I appreciated his personable manners.
The space had plenty of seating and lots of regulars.
I look forward to returning as I too was made to feel at home in this homely restaurant.
Again great food.

And the food came out fast!!!!

Since moving to Charlotte, my children and I have been trying restaurant’s that are not chains.
My daughter chose this restaurant and it was very nice and clean upon entering.
We ordered iced tea, and I liked that a pitcher was placed on our table, but because of this, we weren’t checked on often.
My daughter asked for fries and for hash browns.
My son asked for bacon and got Canadian bacon.
We did get the bacon, but no fries.
The hotcakes were very dense and not easy to cut.
The food was in no way bad, but I would choose something different if we go again.
Overall the restaurant is very cute and I can tell it’s a community staple.

Came after church Sunday.
Had the fried founder breading is nicely seasoned, grits (on point) eggs and turkey sausage.
All food was service was great.
Totally would recommend.
Looking forward to trying other things on the menu 😋
