I often saw Happy Garden when I searched for Chinese food in Elk Grove.
Finally, I decided to try it on my lunch.
They have an excellent lunch special menu. The restaurant has a parking lot shared for their customers and another business.
I had no problem getting a parking space when I was there. Happy Garden has a classic look entrance and a traditional dining room.
It is comfortable with the excellent customer service. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice lunch special.
The price is very reasonable, and the portion is generous.
However, the chicken is too dry, and the sauce is too sweet for me! But I’ll come back to try something else next time because of the attentive customer service.

My family has the fried rice, pork chow mien, orange and lemon chicken, beef broccoli and egg rolls and all were superbly done!
