Our family of four visited this place and walked away really impressed! They have a great selection of traditional BBQ favorites as well as some unique options like BBQ queso. My wife and I shared a two meat platter which was plenty of food for us.The meat was tasty, and I really liked the assortment of different sauces they have to try.The sides are also great, and I recommend trying the brussel sprouts and corn bread. My daughters got the kid's chicken tenders and they loved them! They have a good selection of beers as well, mainly from Big Lug brewery. The location itself was large with both indoor and outdoor seating.Prices are decent and service was friendly and super fast!
First off I want to say that our server Carissa was absolutely amazing! She was extremely attentive to her needs, and honestly hands-down, the saving grace to our meal. We drove down from Noblesville to try something different.I wish I would’ve saved my money… We got a variety of things because we wanted to try a few different things and we smoked wings, Because they were out of Burnt ends, And a hot fried chicken. For the sides, we got tater tots, Macaroni and cheese, And mashed potatoes.Originally, we had two of those replaced with cornbread and corn cake, but they were out. When the food arrived the mashed potatoes got there five minutes before the food did. They had some flavor to them and they weren’t bad.Let’s talk about the food though.. Do not order that hot fried chicken is nothing but fried chicken! There is no seasoning on it whatsoever and no spice! I’ve tasted oatmeal that was spicier. The brisket was dry.You can tell they sliced it when they came to the table. It was not even warm.Brisket should be freshly sliced… it was very dry, and it was almost like having a dry sponge in your mouth.I noticed several other tables had brisket, and it looked exactly the same. The smoked wings were not bad. They had good flavor to them; a little dry.As somebody who barbecues himself at home, these were definitely left on too long and should’ve been kept in a steam table. The sides tater tots were well seasoned. They were not bad.Nothing exciting about them, but it’s tater tots.macaroni and cheese was bland with no seasoning and really runny. The mashed potatoes did have some seasoning to them, and they were actually one of the better things to eat. It is a great atmosphere Great service just the food needs worked on.
