Beer selection was fantastic.
This place is so much fun, be aware that 20% gratuity is added to every tab.
I don't have a problem with that but I know some people might be turned off by it. I think I may have had the best pretzel of my entire life.
Thick and soft and chewy on the inside with a nice firm crust.

Pleasantly surprised to find this place on our Colorado trip.
So on the last day of our trip we found a hotel close to the airport and this was close to it.
It looked cool so we gave it a shot, little did I know it would be the best food we had, our entire trip. Honestly, the best burger I had in 2 years.
Beer was great and had some fun bar/outside games.

The food is tasty, there are a few healthy items that are ok, but I don't go here to be healthy.
I like their accompanied cheese sauce and love their mustard, which I pair with the nice sized and soft pretzel.
I also love their cheese curds with the marinara.
The burgers are perfectly greasy, and the salmon sandwich is bomb.
The atmosphere is cozy and laid back.
All is good except the service.
They automatically charge a 20% surcharge for "service," but no one is serving you.
No one cleans off your table.
No one refills your water.
Heck, no one even comes by to offer you another beer! Talk about a lost opportunity.
It feels like someone is stealing my money.
It ruins the experience.

We take great pride in our food & atmosphere, and are so glad to hear you enjoyed both! While we don't have servers or waiters at GVR Beer Garden, we do have bussers that should be coming by and removing empty glasses, finished plates, etc.
We sincerely apologize that this wasn't the case during your visit, as it absolutely should be.
The 20% fee you mentioned is part of our service-included business model, which allows us to provide equitable compensation for all team members -- including back of house employees who have historically been excluded from tip-sharing due to local law.
This model has had a huge impact on the lives of our team members, as it closes most of the wage gap generally had between tipped & non-tipped employees.
